Not sure if discussions on mass shootings and Disney fireworks shows go together but here we are. After the mass shooting in Parkland, FL we heard once again that it is violent video games, tv, and movies that cause people to commit atrocities. Don’t let them try to change the subject this is about gun control, NOT video games.
To lighten things up we talk about the Star Wars Galactic Spectacular at Disney’s Hollywood Studios which inevitably leads us into talking about all things Star Wars.
Sarah and I talk about the announcement and rumors of the upcoming Toy Story Land at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
Sarah got onto a float and got to throw beads in Universal Studio’s Mardi Gras Parade.
We talk about the new story based DLC for Breath of the Wild. Don’t worry, no spoilers. We also talk about the incredibly lame Mardi Gras parade in Leesburg.
Nintendo has its reaction to VR and it comes in a cardboard box, well… is a cardboard box. We also talk about Sarah’s love of Animal Crossing Pocket Camp.
We did a couple cool things over the holiday weekend. We went to St. Augustine to try out the St. Augustine Distillery as well as the St Augustine Wild Reserve, where they care for a number of big cats and wolves. Then we went to Disney Springs to try the new VR experience “Secrets of the Empire.” If you have not tried it we highly recommend it. Sorry again for my microphone, I have deduced that the mic has gone bad and I will be looking into getting it replaced. Thanks!
We bought Disney World annual passes and the first thing we did was head to Hollywood Studios to check out Tower of Terror for the first time. Sorry about the audio again, I am not sure if it is the mic, cable, or channel but I will figure it out and make it great the next time!
Did you miss us? We missed you! Come check out why we haven’t recorded in nearly six months.
Pro tips are coming your way. Sarah and I got a room at the Portofino Bay Hotel at Universal Studios Orlando. by doing that, we were able to save $800 in Express Pass costs.
For Sarah’s birthday we were able to head to New York for the weekend to check out a few Broadway shows including War Paint; Kinky Boots; Natasha, Pierre & The Great Comet of 1812; Hello, Dolly! and Present Laughter.
You can check out the Tony performances of
Hello Dolly: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R-3SEz7QFGA

There is a slight sync issue with the video on this one that I can’t seem to fix. Trust me I tried for 3 hours. If it is too much for you, feel free to check out the audio version above. At any rate, Sarah and I got to ride Race Through New York with Jimmy Fallon. It was really good but the best part was the queue.
Who won E3? We think it’s Nintendo… Yes… That Nintendo. They gave us the most surprises this year, most everything we saw this year we already knew about or could extrapolate from other sources. We give you our takes on a couple of the other conferences such as Sony and Bethesda.
This year E3 is open to the public. That means that anyone who wanted to go could get a ticket whereas before it was a closed event that was very press centric. This could potentially blow up in the industries’ face. We also talk about the rumors surrounding Universal Orlando’s Super Nintendo World expansion.
We found another one folks, another victim of outrage culture but this time it is focused towards Nintendo and their new vuluptuous fighter from Arms, Twintelle. Tanya DePass turns to Mic saying she “couldn't get excited like everyone else. All [she] could think about was her hair. Specifically, the fact she's a brown, female character with weaponized hair.” Her call to action: to tell us all how the "Twintelle blunder" is "an urgent reminder why better hair options matter."
Last week we were off because Kyle was busy getting that Bachelor’s Degree. We also talk about a video gamer community Kyle has been a part of where all they talk about is Watch Dogs 2.
We discuss this archaic view point that video game publishers on Fall video game sales. The majority of gamers are not kids anymore, there is no reason that we need to "wait for Christmas" when we make our own money and buy or own games. We also get into the culture of "release now, then fix the problems."
Sarah and I go through the E3 rumors surrounding PlayStation and Nintendo. Will this be another awesome year for Sony and will Nintendo build on the momentum it has created with the Switch? We will find out starting June 10th.
Sarah and I discuss whether or not Breath of the Wild really is a 10/10 or if reviewers and others (us) are giving Nintendo a pass because this is The best game that Nintendo has ever released.
My good friend John Myers joins me to talk about all of the things that make Horizon Zero Dawn a masterpiece. Spoiler free!
With the Battle of Berkeley behind us we can't help but think about how we got here. When has violence ever helped a civil cause? How come democrats think republicans are crazy? How come republicans think democrats are crazy? we also discuss the scary situation we are in involving North Korea and Russia.
